Gas Pipe Sizing Calculator (NFPA 54)
How do I size a 2 psi natural gas line?
A 2-PSI system carries gas at higher pressure from the meter, then a line-pressure regulator at each appliance drops it to the usual 0.5 PSI (about 11" W.C.). Size the 2-PSI trunk from the NFPA 54 two-pound table using total connected BTU load and the longest developed length, and size the low-pressure runs downstream of each regulator separately. Enter your loads and run length and the calculator handles both stages against the correct tables.
