    How is steel pipe weight per foot calculated?

    A common fabrication estimate is W(lb/ft) = 10.69 × (OD − WT) × WT, where OD is outside diameter in inches and WT is wall thickness in inches. Multiply the per-foot value by total length to estimate run weight.
