Global Warming Potential (GWP)
A measure of how much heat a refrigerant traps in the atmosphere relative to CO₂ (GWP = 1) over 100 years. AIM Act and EPA phase-downs push the industry toward lower-GWP refrigerants like R-454B and R-448A.
