Refrigerant Concentration Limit (RCL)
The maximum refrigerant concentration (lb per 1000 ft³) allowed in an occupied space under ASHRAE 15/34, set to protect against toxicity, oxygen displacement, and flammability. It caps how much refrigerant a system may hold for a given room volume.
