Separates solids (sludge) from liquids (effluent) and scum. Requires periodic pumping every 3-5 years depending on usage and tank size. Made from concrete, fiberglass, or plastic. Includes inlet and outlet baffles to direct flow and prevent scum/sludge from exiting.
