Scope
Connect a washing machine to water, drain, and power with correct standpipe height, secure hoses, and level installation.
Safety
Read before starting
Turn off water. Use GFCI-protected outlet where required. Ensure standpipe is properly trapped and vented. Lift with help.

Steps
Position and Prepare
- Unbox and remove transit bolts per manual
- Place pan if used and set washer near hookups
- Verify valves are off; place towels and bucket nearby
✅Continue Gate:Area clear; valves off; transit bolts removed?
Connect Supply Hoses
- Attach hoses to washer HOT/COLD ports (hand-tight + 1/4 turn)
- Attach other ends to shutoff valves; keep hoses untwisted
- Open valves slowly and check for drips at both ends
✅Continue Gate:Any leaks at hose connections?
Connect Drain Hose
- Insert drain hose into standpipe to recommended depth (6–8 in)
- Secure with strap; avoid airtight seal to prevent siphoning
- Verify P-trap and vent present on standpipe
✅Continue Gate:Drain secured and not prone to siphon/overflow?
Level the Washer
- Place level front-to-back and side-to-side
- Adjust feet until level; lock jam nuts
- Confirm washer does not rock
✅Continue Gate:Washer level and stable?
Test Cycle and Finalize
- Plug into 120V outlet
- Run cold short cycle; watch fill and drain
- Check for leaks, vibration, and abnormal sounds
- Re-check hose connections after first cycle
✅Continue Gate:No leaks or excessive vibration observed?
