Turn Off Power & Inspect
- Turn off pool equipment power
- Inspect pump, filter, and plumbing
- Look for visible leaks or damage
- Note any unusual sounds or performance issues

Clean Pool Filter
- Turn off pump and relieve pressure
- Remove filter cartridge or backwash sand filter
- Clean filter media thoroughly
- Replace worn parts as needed: cracked cartridge grids, flattened lid O-rings, brittle tank gaskets, or inaccurate pressure gauge

Check Pool Pump
