Steps
Shut Off and Prepare
- Turn off HOT and COLD valves
- Run a nearby faucet to relieve pressure
- Place bucket and towels under connections

Remove Old Hoses
- Loosen at valve first; catch water in bucket
- Loosen at washer ports; inspect threads
- Remove old washers and clean seats
✅Continue Gate:Old hoses removed without thread damage?
Install New Hoses
- Insert new rubber washers
- Hand-tighten to washer HOT/COLD ports then snug 1/4 turn
- Connect to valves; avoid twisting or kinks

Turn On and Leak Test
- Open valves slowly while watching joints
- Wipe connections; check after 5 and 30 minutes
- Run a quick fill cycle and re-check

- Add date tag; replace every 5 years
