    Water Pressure Calculator (PSI)

Why does my pressure drop when multiple fixtures run?

Pressure drop under flow is friction loss — the longer the pipe, the smaller the diameter, and the higher the flow, the more pressure is lost between the meter and the fixture. The fix is usually upsizing the trunk line, replacing old galvanized pipe, or cleaning the pressure regulator.
