ECM Blower
Electronically Commutated Motor blower — a brushless DC motor controlled by onboard electronics. Holds a constant CFM target against varying duct static pressure, ramps speed by demand, and uses ~30% less electricity than the older PSC (permanent split capacitor) blower it replaces. Common in modern high-efficiency furnaces and air handlers.
