Do I need a license to charge a refrigerant system?
Yes. EPA Section 608 certification under 40 CFR Part 82 is required to connect gauges to and add or recover refrigerant from a sealed system. Refrigerant must never be vented; recovery is mandatory. Saturation temperatures here come from standard PT data and are field estimates good to roughly ±3 to 5 psi.
