Split System
HVAC configuration with separate indoor and outdoor units connected by refrigerant lines. The outdoor unit contains compressor and condenser; the indoor unit contains evaporator and blower. Most common residential AC and heat pump configuration. Allows flexible placement and quieter indoor operation.
