Drain-Waste-Vent (DWV) System
The system responsible for removing wastewater and sewage from your home and venting sewer gases safely outside. Unlike pressurized supply lines, DWV lines rely on gravity for flow. It consists of drain lines, waste lines, and vent pipes that work together to maintain proper drainage and prevent sewer gas entry.
