    Hazen-Williams Formula

    An empirical equation used in fire sprinkler hydraulic calculations to estimate friction loss in pipes: p = 4.52 × Q^1.85 / (C^1.85 × d^4.87). The C-factor reflects pipe roughness; lower C = more friction loss.
