Pump Chamber
A dedicated compartment or separate tank that houses a septic pump and float switches when effluent must be pumped to a drain field. Provides space for pump operation, storage volume, and access for maintenance. Typical residential chambers range from 500 to 1,000 gallons depending on system design. Includes sealed lids and venting to control odors and gas buildup.
