    Rainwater Collection System

    A system that captures, stores, and distributes rainwater from roofs or other collection surfaces for non-potable use. Typically includes gutters, first-flush diverters, filtration, storage tanks, and distribution pumps. Storage size is often calculated based on roof area and average rainfall. Common residential storage ranges from 200 to 2,000 gallons.
