Well Casing
The pipe that lines the drilled well hole, preventing collapse and contamination. Typically made of steel, PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), or fiberglass. Standard diameters: 4", 5", 6", or 8" for residential wells. Extends from ground level to below the water table. Protects well from surface contamination and maintains well structure. Must extend above ground level and be properly sealed.
