MPR

Microparticle Performance Rating — 3M's proprietary filter rating focused on very small particles (0.3–1 micron). Used on 3M Filtrete filters. Ranges from MPR 300 (basic) to MPR 2800 (high). Roughly maps to MERV: MPR 600 ≈ MERV 7, MPR 1500 ≈ MERV 12, MPR 2200 ≈ MERV 13. Not interchangeable with MERV — it's a different test method.
